Nodes
Send SMS during the call
Send SMS via Ombala while the call is active.
The Send SMS during the call node (during_call_sms) sends an SMS message during an active call using the Ombala provider (Angola).
Action vs. node
The SMS Action defines the message body, placeholders, option to wait for a reply and fallback message. The node in the Flow references that action and maps the required variables.
Action fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Identifier for the action. |
| Pre-action message | What the Agent says before sending the SMS. |
| SMS body | Text with placeholders <variable>. |
| Wait for reply | Whether the Flow should wait for a recipient reply. |
Receiving replies requires an inbound SMS gateway connected to Diska. Without it, "Wait for reply" always times out and the flow continues through the fallback message.
| Timeout | Seconds to wait for a reply. | | Fallback message | Text spoken if there is no reply. |
Live state
Actual sending only works if Ombala credentials are configured in the API. Without credentials, the action runs in simulated mode.
Node in the Flow
- References the action by
actionId. - Maps variables to the placeholders.
Validation
- Error if no during-call SMS action is associated.
- Warning if a mapped placeholder value is missing.
